Firestone Ride-Rite airbags are designed to fit between a vehicles chassis and the axle / leaf spring to provide levelling control, front-to-rear and side-to-side, when a vehicle is under load. The heavy duty double convoluted airbags are a two ply, reinforced rubber bellows. You can adjust for varying loads and road conditions by simply inflating or deflating, just like inflating a tyre.

Firestone Ride-Rite

Firestone Ride-Rite airbags provide extra support for leaf suspensions in light trucks, vans, utes, 4WD’s, SUV’s, caravans and motorhomes. Airbags are used for front-to-rear and side-to-side levelling control of a vehicle. This enables a vehicle to “level up” when carrying heavy, uneven loads and when towing caravans, boats and trailers.

Firestone Coil-Rite

Firestone Coil-Rite airbags are designed to fit inside existing coil springs to provide levelling control to a vehicle when under load. These airbags are made of durable polyurethane, providing years of comfort and stability to a vehicle. You can adjust for varying loads and road conditions by simply inflating or deflating, just like inflating a tyre.

On-Air

On-Air is full air suspension applied to vehicles with coil spring suspension. The coil springs are removed totally and are replaced with airbags. The airbags are heavy duty two ply, reinforced rubber rolling sleeves, the same construction as used on heavy duty trucks and buses. You can adjust for varying loads and road conditions by simply inflating or deflating, just like inflating a tyre.

On-Air airbags provide a superior, adjustable full air suspension for most vans, utes, 4WD’s, and SUV’s. Airbags are used for front-to-rear and side-to-side levelling control of a vehicle. This enables a vehicle to “level up” when towing caravans, boats and trailers or when a vehicle or truck is carrying heavy, uneven loads - providing full adjustability for off-road or passenger loading.

Firestone Air-Rite

Firestone Air-Rite kits and components provide an instant air source for all air suspension kits and products to allow quick inflation and deflation for various road and load conditions. Our Firestone Air-Rite air control systems can also give you the optional advantage of finger-tip levelling control for your vehicle or automatic height management.

Air-Rite in-cab controls allow users of leaf-spring equipped work vehicles to effortlessly adjust air helper suspensions to cope with different roads, loads and site conditions.

The dual air control kit from airbag man - distributed in NSW by All-air suepnsion - further enhances the usability and performance of a vehicles fitted with Firestone Ride-Rite air springs located between the chassis and rear suspension of leaf- spring equipped vehicles.

The dual air control kit allows the user to individually inflate or deflate either or both of the two air springs at the touch of a switch, without leaving the cab to manually inflate or deflate the springs to cope with changing road, load and ride conditions. This allows for custom control of front to rear or side to side levelling, which the user can tailor to their specific needs from inside the cab, rather than having to go to the nearest service station or get out to use a compressor.

The Air-Rite kit, made from quality Firestone components, can easily be added to existing suspension products, or included in a full Airbag Man package. “The Air-Rite kit is useful for a huge variety of applications and is particularly useful for users with unique and uneven loads, where they are towing or where a flat and even ride benefits braking safety. If the load is all on one side, it’s easy to just push a button and give that side some extra height to compensate for the additional weight,” says All-Air Suspension General Manager, Mr James Maslin.

The kit comes with three high quality features:

  • A 12V air compressor that provides up to 130 psi (0.64 cfm at 60psi)
  • A fitting kit with quick fit push-to-connect air fittings, easy to use electrical connections, fuse and holder and cable ties
  • A control panel with individual switches for dual control, dual needle gauge to monitor pressure, back lit capability and an easy install panel

The Air-Rite kit is designed to be an additional upgrade to other suspension kits, including Ride-Rite for leaf sprung vehicles and Coil-Rite coil sprung vehicles. These kits are designed to increase vehicle stability, maintain correct vehicle height and reduce wear on the suspension by optimising its performance. The Air-Rite kits make suspension adjustment quicker and easier.

“The peace of mind these kits give users is outstanding. If the terrain changes or some of the load is moved or unloaded, they can cater to the changed conditions and instantly adjust the suspension from inside their vehicle,” says Mr Maslin.
