Formula 1
The claim for special characteristic curves and performance parameters, smallest tolerances, weight and construction dimension optimization as well as reliability under extreme permanent load shows obviously that motorsport is the perfect testing ground for Eibach.
Not without good reasons the majority of the teams in top tier of motorsport trusts in Eibach products and our technical knowledge.
M-Sport (WRC)
Also we are present in FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). The team from M-Sport must be able to rely on our products when they have to deal with various conditions such as normal asphalt roads as well as desert sand or even ice and snow on the difficult stages. We supply them with the right motorsport springs standing the toughest conditions.
Armin Schwarz - Score Series
There are challenges so unusual and extreme, that managing them requires completely extraordinary solutions. Just as the legendary Baja California (Part of the SCORE Series) which is considered to be one of the hardest terrains for Off-Road vehicles.
Right in the middle: The race buggy of the former German rally WM driver Armin Schwarz with more than 600hp, that resists heavy jumps, tough depressions and rough boulders with its spring deflection up to 70cm.
Audi Sport
Already four DTM-titles crown the long-term cooperation of Eibach and Audi Sport: Following 2007, 2008 and 2009 the team from Ingolstadt managed to win the championship in 2011 again. They use the Eibach Race Spring System (ERS) and several special designs, which we developed together to reach an optimal Set-up.
Now the successful story will continue for another two years.
As an „Audi Sport Official Supplier“ and also technical partner Eibach takes its Know-how not only into DTM race cars but also equips the R8 LMS and R8 LMS ultra that Audi Sport uses.

Our experience from many years of in-house development and manufacture of shock absorbers and ERS springs for the top series in national and internationalmotorsports also flows directly into our coil-over suspension systems.
Additionally, the Pro-Street-S shock absorbers are manufactured on the basis of stainless steel technology, in order not just to provide you with a sporty performance, but also with the finest quality! ERS | Eibach Race-Spring-System
Introduction
It was in Germany in the 1980’s when Wilfried Eibach engineered the first designs of today’s legendary Eibach Race Springs.
We still have saved a “Typenliste”, just one sheet of paper, from the year 1986, which pictures the first 50 ERS part-numbers, all metric, 60 mm ID – inner diameter.
Obviously this basic approach was spot-on, as even today these historical part-numbers are part of our complete Eibach Race Spring System.
A few differences have to be recognized, the number of part-numbers/single components have grown from 50 to over 1,300. Also the early designs are consistently being improved in line with superior materials and manufacturing technology.
The ERS line has evolved over the years to be the world’s most prominent, comprehensive and superior Race Spring System. Eibach Race Springs are all manufactured in series production, often repeated, with a strong manufacturing experience. Thus, Eibach constantly achieves the most linear spring characteristic (rate) while maintaining the lowest tolerances and the highest quality in the industry.
In an instance when an application cannot be covered by the Eibach Race Spring System, then Eibach offers a bespoke design and manufacture service.
Based on decades of experience, Eibach has optimized their products to realize the lowest weight and smallest solid height – therefore increasing the maximum travel, block stability, linearity of the load/deflection graph, sag stability and dynamic durability
Suspension Tuning with ERS
Every suspension tuning is a compromise!
Already Junior-racers, very early in their career, are confronted with the challenges of Over- or Understeer.
On one hand the spring system should be compliant and soft enough to compensate for bumpy roads or tracks. This compliance assures permanent road-contact of wheel and tire and therefore guarantees grip and traction.
On the other hand the spring system must be firm enough to reduce body roll, squat and dive of the vehicle body during cornering, acceleration and braking.
For these contrary demands our ERS System offers endless variety of spring combinations
