King Springs The very heart of our business is the Research, Design and Development Department. It is responsible for the ongoing development and advancement of our product and encompasses all aspects of product evaluation.

At King Springs, we rely heavily on input not only from our staff members, but from the many specialist distributors throughout Australia that install our product daily. We regard qualified feedback as an extremely important part of our development program.

Exacting measurements are taken on and off the vehicle to thoroughly evaluate the design requirements. Advanced equipment such as CAD systems and computer controlled testing machines are used to develop every part number. The spring is then extensively road tested to further fine tune and ensure optimum performance is gained.

Our aim with all our designs is that our product achieves the improvements it is purchased for. All springs are designed with Australian road conditions in mind.

All Kings Springs Heavy Duty Replacement Springs are designed to be uprated. The degree of uprating varies between vehicles but can generally be stated at 20-40%. King Springs Pro-Sport is a range of high quality coil over type springs specifically designed and manufactured for motor sport and performance street car application. The range includes both linear and tapered wire progressive rate springs as well as flat section tender springs and has been developed from many successful years of expertise in the motor sport industry.

Manufacturing
King Springs' commitment to motor sport initiated a new manufacturing process dedicated to volume production of the Pro-Sport range to meet with stringent criteria required for motor sport applications.
Pro-Sport features include:

Manufactured from precision machined BHP steel. This combined with shot peening eliminates all surface defects.
Hot rolled, oil quenched and tempered.
Scragged solid.
Powder coated.
Design parameters have been extensively reviewed and enhanced by the introduction of 0.5mm increments in steel sizes.

All the above ensures maximum quality, performance, travel and durability is attained.

Pro-Sport springs are packaged in specially designed tubes available in six different lengths and two different diameters (see below) to suit the Pro-Sport range. While all springs ordered come packaged in tubes, extra tubes are available to order if required.
